What is SAP MM or Material Management?
SAP MM (Materials Management) is a core functional module that manages a company’s Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle. In S/4HANA, MM is streamlined with simplified data models and enhanced sourcing capabilities, making supply chain management faster and more transparent.
This training focuses on organizational levels and master data relevant to materials management, basic procurement processes such as creating purchase requisitions and purchase orders, posting a goods receipt, performing invoice verification using Fiori Apps and GUI transactions, material requirements planning using the consumption-based planning procedure, sources of supply and purchasing functions, and procurement-related customizing settings.
